Reimagining Fashion Supply Chain, Starting in Washington State 🌿

Reimagining Fashion Supply Chain, Starting in Washington State 🌿

At Transcend, we’ve always believed that fashion can be a force for good—rooted in purpose, heritage, and circularity. And now, we’re taking that vision one step further with our most ambitious initiative yet:

The Made in Washington Collection

A first-of-its-kind circular fashion experiment as part of our NextCycle 2025 project —crafted from locally sourced deadstock textiles, reimagined with heritage artistry, and stitched by refugee and immigrant seamstresses right here in Washington state.

This isn’t just a clothing line. It’s a prototype for what fashion could look like everywhere:
✨ Waste turned into wearable art
✨ Local hands, not global shipping lanes
✨ Economic opportunity for communities too often overlooked
✨ Embroidery, block print, and repair as tools of resistance and beauty

But what if this went beyond Washington?

Imagine if every city had its own circular fashion hub—mapping where deadstock and excess fabrics live, and bringing together brands, artists, menders, and makers to transform it into clothing the community actually needs.

That’s the long-term dream:
🧵 A decentralized yet connected, climate-resilient fashion ecosystem
📍 One rooted in place, people, and purpose
🌎 A blueprint for a post-fast fashion world

We’re testing this vision now. But we can’t do it alone.
