Made in Washington - A Hyper Local Fashion Supply Chain
🧵 Made In Washington
Transforming Textile Waste Into Local Fashion
At Transcend, we’re building a bold new model for circular fashion — one powered by AI, rooted in community, and activated through waste.
In partnership with NextCycle Washington, we’re mapping deadstock, excess, and landfill-bound textiles across the state and turning them into meaningful, wearable pieces through hyperlocal supply chains.
🌍 Why It Matters
- Reduce textile waste and carbon emissions
- Empower local makers and artisans
- Build resilient, place-based supply chains
- Create fashion that’s ethical, circular, and beautiful
🧠 How It Works
- Mapping: We identify where unused and excess textiles exist across WA.
- Making: These partners transform waste into upcycled collections — no overseas shipping required.
- Marketing: We sell these limited-edition pieces via our website, telling the story behind every stitch.
